Real Weddings: Cassandra & Urnell's Vintage inspired set up

Last Wednesday we embarked on another mission to arrange the set up for an intimate dinner-party at Plantation house Ascencion in the beautiful surroundings of Banda' Bou. This location turned out to be the ideal place for an elegant vintage inspired set up.
During previous correspondence with the bride and groom we knew that they had a very clear view of what they want to see at their wedding reception. We met personally with the bride and groom on May 14th and discussed all the items to be used for the set up.
We started at 11.45pm with the arrangement of torches at the entrance, white wooden lanterns at the stairs, paper lanterns on the patio, and 7 big round tables for the guests to enjoy dinner in the evening.
The color combination was shades of white with pink and gold. We matched a double layer table linen with organza top to add a sophisticated look to the set up. The bride provided us with pearl bracelets to embellish the glass votives. We brought a touch of the vintage country look to the tables by using rough cord to tie the linen bows and place them in the center of the ceramic under-plate.
We give credit on the floral pieces and design who all have been arranged by the exquisite boutique: Bon Aparte Flowers. Beautiful blooms and stunning art-pieces have been created to enhance the vintage country look to this set up.
Inside the house we worked with the massive oak dinner table to create a dessert table. Gold framed mirrors, transparent glass dishes and tiers were used to add dimension and a country tough to the cake table. The guests enjoyed the abundant selection of cakes while we enjoyed the overall set up.
At night the candles and the light-bulbs were glowing and this amazing view was captured with our camera. At that moment we forgot about all the hard work and smiled at another elegantly executed event.
